Downtown Austin Skyscraper Boom
We currently have 13 skyscrapers over 500′ tall under construction or breaking-ground. This is significant for any city, especially Austin. We did not have a 500-footer until the Frost Bank Tower in 2004!
Currently, one is over 1,000′; two (including the 1,000-footer) are over 800′; four are over 700′; and nine are over 600′.
